Course Overview

¡Buen trabajo! Put the spit and shine on your Spanish as you explore vocabulary, language structures, idioms, and expressions that’ll help you communicate more effectively in both written and spoken Spanish. You’ll also be introduced to Spanish literature and art to further your understanding of both the language and the culture.

Course Overview

Bienvenido! Spanish 20 is the second year of the Spanish program. Build on your Spanish skills as you continue to explore the language and culture of Spanish-speaking countries through a variety of activities, including interactive multimedia.

Spanish 20 has 9 units. Each unit is organized into 4 sections:  Lesson, Structures, Practice, and Assessment. You’ll have the opportunity to listen to new words as you practice reading and saying them. You’ll also view videos as you partner up with Gael on our version of the Amazing Race. Interactive games, work in our Language Lab, and self-check quizzes will solidify and broaden your learning.

You’ll submit writing and speaking assignments online, and interactive conversation assessments with your teacher and online exams are completed at the end of each unit.

For many, the best learning resource is the teacher! You’ll have the opportunity to work with a fluent Spanish teacher throughout the course.

Course Overview

Hola! Explore the vibrant culture of various Spanish-speaking countries as you learn the language. Develop the essential skills for listening to, speaking, reading, and writing Spanish through a variety of activities, including interactive multimedia.

Spanish 10 has 8 units/exams. Each unit is organized into 4 sections:  Lesson, Structures, Practice, and Assessment. You’ll have the opportunity to listen to new words as you practice reading and saying them. You’ll also view videos, play interactive games, and do self-check quizzes to solidify and broaden your learning. There is a teacher supervised midterm and final exam

Writing and recorded speaking assignments will be submitted online. There are four interactive conversation assessments which need to be done during school hours with the ADLC teacher (phone or skype or google hangouts)
